Casa Vitae Hotel This renovated Venetian castle house is just a 3-minute walk from all the city of Rethynmon has to offer, including the museums, the Venetian fortress and the Venetian harbour. Casa Vitae was built in the 15th century and was the residence of the Venetian governor. Now a luxury hotel, the property maintains the Venetian style combined with the traditional Cretan architecture. At the same time, it is fully equipped to provide the visitor with an ambient environment that combines the romance of the Venetian era, the prettiness of Crete along with the comforts of our modern times. With just 8 rooms, staff are always on hand to offer a personalised service.
