Neon Hotel Just 80 metres away from the sandy beach and 2 km from the town centre, this is a family-friendly hotel, located in a quiet area of beautiful Malia. Guests can make use of the water sports facilities of the nearby beach. All rooms at the Neon Hotel offer sea view. Each is air-conditioned with fridge and private bathroom. Guests can easily access the local bus, right outside the hotel’s entrance. On the eastern side of the north Cretan shores, the hotel is 30 km from Heraklion and 35 km from the harbour and Heraklion Airport. You can find taverns, restaurants and a great variety of shops nearby, and it is only 5 km away from the Minoic Palace of Malia. This hotel offers a romantic atmosphere surrounded by verdant gardens, with palm trees bordering the entrance. In fact, you can find all kinds of local trees here such as orange, lemon, mandarin, pear, apricot; and several kinds of flowers as well.

Room information

The hotel offers double, single and triple rooms, some of which have a balcony with table and chairs. There is a daily maid service, towel and sheet change every 3 days. You can also request an in-room massage (at an additional cost). Extra people in the room are not allowed unless they are relatives. Guests must be quiet and respect their fellow guests, as well as those of nearby hotels.

Food & beverage

Hotel Neon offers a great snack bar where you can taste Greek cuisine in a friendly and romantic atmosphere with good service. The hotel also has a central bar and a pool bar. Special evenings are organised every week (depending on participation) next to the pool. These include barbecue nights, seafood nights and more (at an additional cost). Room service is available from 07:00 to 11:00.

Area information

In a beautiful and quiet location, you can walk to Stalida and Malia. Around this area you will find several shops, restaurants, taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine, amazing night life and a sandy beach ideal for children. The beach is equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, and you can enjoy a variety of sea sports. In the area, you will find fitness centres with sauna, hammam and jacuzzi. There are also tennis courts, 3 water parks and places offering traditional Cretan food and dancing. Soccer and mini-soccer fields are 3 km away and a diving centre is 5 km away.
