The whole village is built on hills surrounding the port, and all rooms enjoy views of the Lybian Sea. Agia Galini means Holy Peace in Greek, and the resort maintains the peaceful atmosphere and appeal of a fishing village. However, you will also find here a lively holiday destination and the perfect base from which to explore Southern Crete’s beautiful beaches, charming villages and rugged landscape. Rethymnon , with its Venetian harbour and fortress, is about an hour’s drive away. Agia Galini is 65 kilometres from Heraklion Airport.
